  1. File Menu - "Decoding Preferences..."

  3. DECODING A FILE THAT CONTAINS MORE THAN ONE ENCODED FILE:
  4. Uuencoded text typically contains the file name that will be created when the file is
  5. decoded.  If you do not wish to change this encoded file name, you should choose the "Batch
  6. output" option.  The task of decoding will then require less attention from you.  You may
  7. even let UULite do the decoding while you work on something else (under Multifinder/
  8. System 7).

  10. DRAG AND DROP DECODING SHOULD DEFAULT TO:
  11. This chooses the method that UULite will use when decoding a file that was dropped on its
  12. icon while in the finder (System 7 only).  You may temporarily overide this choice (thus
  13. using the other method) by holding down the option key while dropping the file until you
  14. see the "Save as" screen.
